What role can and do citizens play in highlighting irresponsible enterprise and ensuring responsible enterprise?
Here are some links to organizations that think they have the answer:
On Wednesday 5 November 2014 Ir/Responsible Enterprise ran an event at the University of St Andrews funded by the Economic and Social Research Council as part of their national Festival of Social Science Week.
The event celebrated the School of Management’s focus on the theme of Responsible Enterprise and sought to engage young people in Fife with recent social science findings and real-world case studies. We worked with young people from a range of current school-based social science curricula — e.g. Business and Management; Accounting; Economics; Managing Environmental Resources; Politics; Sociology — and those engaged with these topics within extra-curricula activities such as enterprise clubs etc. The event included: university-style seminars to discuss case studies; a round-table debate with experts; and access to an online resource focused on responsible enterprise information.
